Details Stefanini Group is a multinational company with a global presence in 41 countries and 44 languages specializing in technological solutions We believe in digital innovation and agility to transform businesses for a better future Our diverse portfolio includes consulting marketing mobility AI services service desk field service and outsourcing solution Job Requirements Details DB Specialist Key Responsibilities Lead the design setup and configuration of Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Servers for enterprise applications Manage Cassandra database clusters hosted on VMs including setup configuration tuning and lifecycle operations Lead and execute database migration projects - PostgreSQL migration from AWS RDS to Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server - Cassandra data migration from AWS-hosted clusters to Azure VM clusters Perform regular performance tuning query optimization and capacity planning Design and implement high availability disaster recovery and backup restore strategies Automate operational tasks using Jenkins Terraform and scripting languages e g Bash Python Implement and monitor robust logging and alerting for proactive issue detection and resolution Ensure database security and compliance through proper access control encryption and auditing Collaborate with development and application teams to provide expert advice on performance tuning and query optimization Perform zero-downtime upgrades and migrations with minimal impact to application availability Act as a single point of contact SPOC for all database-related concerns guiding stakeholders and driving database excellence Manage large-scale databases supporting high-throughput high-availability enterprise systems Required Skills and Qualifications Proven expertise in Azure PostgreSQL Adaptable Server setup configuration performance tuning administration and lifecycle management Hands-on experience managing Cassandra clusters on virtual machines In-depth understanding of backup restore strategies replication disaster recovery planning and migration techniques Strong proficiency in database automation using tools such as Jenkins Terraform and scripting Experience with database security cloud security including authentication authorization encryption and auditing Ability to handle enterprise-scale database environments with high reliability and availability requirements Excellent troubleshooting communication and collaboration skills Demonstrated ability to manage zero-downtime upgrades and maintenance activities Hands-on experience in cloud database migrations especially will be an added advantage - From AWS RDS PostgreSQL to Azure PostgreSQL Flexible Server - From AWS-hosted Cassandra to Azure-based Cassandra clusters Preferred Qualifications Cloud certifications e g Microsoft Certified Azure Database Administrator AWS Certified Database Specialty Must have Cassandra or Postgres Linux Shell Scripting Performance Tuning Ansible Good to have Terraform AWS or Azure Jenkins Python Location Gurgaon or Pune Shift - general shift 9-6 PM LI-ONSITE LI-RD1 Pay Range 2000000 00 - 2300000 00
