ROLE SUMMARY
We are looking for a detail-oriented Purchase Manager to oversee all procurement activities for raw
materials, components, and factory supplies.

The ideal candidate will ensure timely procurement at optimal
cost while maintaining solid vendor relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Identify and evaluate suppliers; negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules
• Raise and process purchase orders (POs) in coordination with the production and stores teams
• Monitor inventory levels and plan procurement to avoid shortages or excess stock
• Maintain the vendor database and conduct periodic vendor performance reviews
• Ensure all purchases comply with quality standards and company policies
• Track purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods
• Coordinate with the accounts team for invoice processing and payment clearance
• Prepare MIS reports on purchase activities, cost savings, and vendor performance
• Conduct periodic visits to vendor premises as required




• Carry out consignment checks for bulk orders at vendor premises, both during in-process production
and prior to final dispatch

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS
• Graduate in any discipline; an MBA or Diploma in Supply Chain Management is an advantage
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchase/procurement; experience with a manufacturing company
is preferred
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Tally, or ERP systems
• Robust negotiation and communication skills
• Knowledge of GST and import/export procedures is a plus.
