Job Description

Rakon India is looking for an experienced and energetic Head - Quality (Senior Manager) to lead Quality Assurance, Quality Control, Supplier Quality, Customer Quality, and Quality Management Systems across our advanced electronics manufacturing operations.

This is a strategic leadership role for a quality professional who is passionate about driving operational excellence, customer satisfaction, continuous improvement, and world-class quality standards.

Experience

n

15+ years in Quality Management within Electronics Manufacturing, including at least 10 years in leadership/managerial roles.

n

Key Responsibilities

n

Lead end-to-end Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions

n

Drive customer, supplier, product, and process quality excellence

n

Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, EHS, and regulatory requirements

n

Lead certifications, internal and external audits, and quality improvement initiatives

n

Manage customer complaints, 8D reports, RMAs, corrective and preventive actions

n

Develop and mentor high-performing quality teams

n





Implement Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, SPC, FMEA, and continuous improvement programs

n

Partner with customers, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to achieve best-in-class quality performance

n

Desired Profile

n

Proven experience in electronics manufacturing

n

Solid exposure to SMT/PTH processes, PCB assemblies, product integration, and testing

n

Expertise in Supplier Quality Management and Incoming Quality Control

n

Knowledge of IPC-A-610, IPC-600, ISO standards, ESD/MSD requirements, FMEA, Control Plans, and Root Cause Analysis methodologies

n

Robust leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills
