Role & responsibilities
This role is dedicated to the Sleep Category Beds & Mattresses.
The incumbent will exclusively focus on driving sales of mattresses and beds within the store.
- Attend and engage walk-in customers with specific focus on the Sleep category (Beds & Mattresses)
- Understand customer requirements related to comfort, size, budget, and usage
- Recommend suitable mattresses and beds based on customer needs
- Explain mattress features, materials, firmness levels, warranties, and pricing clearly
- Achieve monthly mattress and bed sales targets assigned to the store
- Ensure linked sales actively pitch and close a bed along with every mattress sale
- Maintain showroom presentation and product displays for the Sleep category
- Coordinate with billing and delivery teams for smooth order processing
- Follow up with leads and existing customers for conversions and repeat business
- Maintain CRM records for all Sleep category leads and interactions
Preferred candidate profile
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Solid product knowledge in mattresses and sleep solutions
- Convincing and consultative selling ability
- Customer handling and relationship management
- Target-oriented mindset with focus on linked sales (bed + mattress)
- Basic CRM and billing/POS system knowledge preferred
