Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Manage end-to-end inventory operations across warehouses and project sites.
- Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal inventory availability.
- Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures.
- Track inventory movement, consumption, transfers, and adjustments.
Warehouse Operations
- Oversee receiving, storage, issuance, and dispatch of materials.
- Ensure proper material handling and storage practices.
- Coordinate with warehouse teams for efficient stock management.
- Optimize warehouse space utilization and material flow.
Inventory Planning & Control
- Analyze inventory trends and forecast stock requirements.
- Establish reorder levels, safety stock, and replenishment plans.
- Coordinate with procurement and project teams for material availability.
- Prevent stock-outs, overstocking, and obsolete inventory.
Audits & Compliance
- Conduct periodic cycle counts and physical stock audits.
- Reconcile physical inventory with system records.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, SOPs, and audit requirements.
Reporting & MIS
- Prepare inventory reports, stock ageing reports, and variance analysis.
- Monitor key inventory KPIs such as inventory accuracy, turnover, shrinkage, and stock availability.
- Present inventory performance reports to management.
Team Management
- Lead and manage warehouse inventory personnel.
- Train staff on inventory control processes and best practices.
- Drive accountability, productivity, and process discipline within the team.
Process Improvement
- Identify opportunities for inventory optimization and cost reduction.
- Implement best practices in warehouse and inventory management.
- Support ERP/WMS enhancements and automation initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in Operations or Supply Chain preferred.
- 812 years of experience in inventory management and warehouse operations.
- Experience handling large-scale inventories across multiple locations.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems, inventory management tools, and warehouse processes.
