We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Business Analyst to own the requirements lifecycle for our complex Online Travel Agency (OTA) projects. The ideal candidate will act as the crucial bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, demonstrating a proven track record of gathering requirements, writing clear user stories, and driving large-scale software initiatives to successful delivery.

The Senior Business Analyst will be responsible for:

- Requirements Gathering & Documentation: Elicit, define, and document detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories for our global OTA platform across multiple channels (Web, Android, iOS).
- Agile Execution: Act as a core driver within the software development lifecycle by facilitating backlog grooming, sprint planning, and requirement clarification sessions with development teams.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage directly with cross-functional stakeholders (business, product, design, and engineering) across global geographies to synthesize and balance technical constraints with business needs.
- Feature Prioritization: Assist Product Owners in prioritizing the product backlog based on business value, technical feasibility, and team capacity.
- End-to-End Functional Ownership: Manage the software delivery lifecycle from concept to launch: including tracking feature progress, coordinating rigorous User Acceptance Testing (UAT), creating test scenarios, and securing final stakeholder sign-offs.
- Technical Translation: Utilize a strong understanding of software architecture and APIs to effectively communicate with developers, critically evaluate technical solutions, and ensure they meet the intended business logic.
- Design Collaboration: Work closely with the UI/UX Design team to ensure wireframes and prototypes accurately reflect functional requirements and customer journey flows.
- Performance Tracking:



Monitor key software KPIs and user feedback post-launch to identify bugs or areas for functional improvement.
- System Troubleshooting & Support: Provide expert functional analysis on complex L1/L2/L3 system issues, investigating data anomalies, identifying root causes, and working with engineers to implement timely fixes.
- Peer Mentorship: Provide day-to-day functional guidance and peer support to junior Business Analysts, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence within your squad.
- Data & Security Compliance: Ensure that new features and workflows comply with established data security protocols, network access controls, and data governance standards.

Required Skills:

- University Graduate with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related technical equivalent.
- 6=9 years of proven software development experience functioning as a Business Analyst.
- Highly Preferred: Online Travel Agency (OTA) platform development experience, or expertise in domains such as Flights, Hotels, Energetic Packaging, Car Rentals, Travel Insurance, or Payment Gateway integrations.
- Strong understanding of software architecture basics, API integrations, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts, and design patterns to effectively converse with technical teams.
- Well-versed in Agile methodologies and highly proficient in Jira, Confluence, or similar project management tools.
- Excellent analytical and high-level computational problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with Business-level English proficiency (spoken and written).
- Ability to work as a core, reliable member of a large-scale development project geared toward global expansion.
- Japan-friendly mindset: open to intercultural communication and adept at building relationships across diverse global teams.
- Diligent, punctual, and highly self-motivated with a practical, structured approach to work.
- Demonstrated ability to take deep ownership of service delivery, quality, and the rapid resolution of bugs or operational incidents.
