Qualification

Bachelor's Degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering

Experience

1) 6-7 years of hands-on experience in expediting operations for Mechanical and Electrical components

2) Experience in medium to large-scale manufacturing, EPC, Power, Oil & Gas, Industrial Plants, or Infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

1) Monitor and expedite manufacturing activities at vendor facilities to ensure timely delivery of mechanical equipment, fabricated components, and project materials.

2) Coordinate with vendors, procurement teams, quality teams, and project stakeholders to ensure project schedules are met

3) Track manufacturing progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement recovery plans to minimize delays.

4) Conduct regular vendor visits to review production status and resolve issues affecting delivery timelines

5) Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and agreeddelivery schedules.

6) Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and monitor equipment readiness before dispatch.

7) Prepare weekly expediting reports, progress dashboards, vendor visit reports, action trackers, and recovery plans.

8) Present project progress and critical updates to project teams and seniormanagement.

Hands-on knowledge of manufacturing and expediting of critical equipment,including:Air-Cooled Chillers, Pumps, Thermal Storage Tanks, FWUs, PAHUs, DG Sets, HV AC Systems, Piping, Structural Fabrication, Pressure Vessels, Electrical Control Panels,

Good understanding of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT).

Strong communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.

Ability to work under strict project timelines and handle multiple stakeholders
