Designation: Senior Java Developer with Python

This position is for 6 months FTE on payroll of E&Y; basis of performance extendable and convertible.

Experience Range: 5+ yrs

Location - Bangalore

Shift timings- 1 pm to 10 pm

Notice period- Immediate /15 days (30 NP negotiable also ok)

Role Overview

A highly skilled Senior Java Developer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices architecture, and Python. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance applications.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop scalable backend systems using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and maintain Microservices-based architectures
- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure high availability and performance
- Work on Python-based services or automation scripts
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, QA, and DevOps
- Participate in system design, code reviews, and architecture discussions
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot production issues
- Ensure adherence to coding standards, security, and best practices
- Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-based deployments
- Handle database integration and performance tuning

Required Skills & Experience





- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Java development
- Strong expertise in:
- Spring Boot
- Microservices architecture
- REST API development

- Positive working knowledge of Python
- Experience with:

- SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.)
- Version control tools (Git)
- CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.)

- Understanding of design patterns and system design
- Experience in performance tuning and debugging

Preferred Skills

- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with message queues (Kafka/RabbitMQ)
- Understanding of security best practices
- Exposure to fintech/payments domain (good to have)

Soft Skills

- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
- Team collaboration with ownership mindset
