We are seeking a talented Design Engineer with 1+ years of experience in Special Purpose Machine (SPM) Design to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing SPMs, conveyor systems, and pneumatic systems, along with proficiency in SolidWorks and AutoCAD. Experience in Material Handling Equipment and Sheet Metal Design will be an added advantage.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop Special Purpose Machines (SPMs) based on customer requirements and project specifications.
- Design conveyor systems and integrate pneumatic components into machine designs.
- Create 3D models, assemblies, and detailed manufacturing drawings using SolidWorks.
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts,
and fabrication drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop assembly drawings, part drawings, and Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Coordinate with production, fabrication, and project teams to ensure smooth manufacturing and assembly.
- Optimize machine designs for performance, manufacturability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, installation, and commissioning.
- Ensure designs comply with engineering standards, quality requirements, and customer specifications.
