Hiring: Field Sales Executive Chennai
Location: Chennai
Experience: 2 to 4 years of proven field sales experience in FMCG/food products (such as Moringa Masala Powder, Turmeric powder, Honey dried amla and value-added products etc preferred), with experience visiting retail stores, supermarkets, and mom-and-pop stores.
Salary: 60,000 to Rs.1,00,000/- per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit and pitch Organic value added products to regional supermarkets and large-format retail stores across Chennai regions daily
- Secure product placement and listings in new stores; negotiate shelf space, pricing, and promotional terms with store owners
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with retailers, ensuring consistent reorder orders and repeat business
- Conduct product demonstrations and educate store owners/customers about quality, varieties, and unique advantages
- Monitor competitor products in-store, track pricing, and report market trends to management
- Achieve monthly/quarterly sales targets for new store acquisitions and revenue growth
- Collect and submit daily field reports including store visits, orders secured, and market feedback using sales apps/CRM
- Ensure OTIF (On-Time In-Full) delivery coordination with your supply chain team for ordered products
- Identify and register new potential stores in assigned Chennai regions to expand market coverage
- Handle retailer queries, complaints, and returns promptly; maintain positive store relationships
- Participate in in-store promotions, sampling events, and trade displays as needed
What We're Looking For:
- Excellent communication in Tamil &English;
- Strong negotiation skills
- Understanding of Chennai's retail market, ability to identify potential stores and analyze competitor.
- Proven track record of building long-term relationships with retailers and maintaining good dealer relationships, exceeding sales targets; self-motivated and result-driven
