Role & responsibilities

Key responsibilities

A. Financial reporting & controllership (Ind AS)

- Own month-end/quarter-end/year-end close with robust schedules, reconciliations, and audit-ready documentation
- Prepare and review Ind AS financial statements (standalone and consolidated where applicable), notes, and disclosures; ensure consistency of accounting policies across entities
- Drive implementation/interpretation of key Ind AS areas, including revenue, leases, financial instruments, taxes, related parties, provisions, impairment, employee benefits, and ESOPs
- Deliver MIS and performance dashboards with variance analysis and KPI commentary for CEO/CXOs

B. GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) & internal controls

- Design and strengthen internal financial controls (IFC), SOPs, Delegation of Authority, and approval workflows
- Build and maintain process documentation and Risk & Control Matrix; coordinate testing, issue tracking, and remediation closure
- Run the compliance calendar (statutory, tax, corporate) and ensure timely filings and closure of observations
- Lead internal audit planning and execution; drive closure of audit findings with accountable action owners
- Strengthen fraud risk controls, vendor/customer master governance, and whistleblower/escalation mechanisms (in coordination with Legal, as applicable)

C. IPO preparedness and listed-company discipline

- Own IPO readiness roadmap covering financial reporting maturity, controls environment, policy standardization, and documentation rigor
- Coordinate financial due diligence: data room preparation, diligence trackers,



management responses, historical financials, and reconciliation packs
- Work closely with statutory auditors, internal auditors, bankers, and legal/secretarial teams on diligence requests, issue resolution, and documentation
- Strengthen related-party transaction hygiene, audit committee reporting cadence, and quarterly close discipline

D. Fundraise support, treasury, tax, and business partnering

- Support CEO and management in fundraising (debt/equity) by preparing investor/lender-ready financial packs, analysis, and documentation (financials, working capital, cash flows, unit economics, capex plans, segment profitability)
- Coordinate fundraise due diligence processes: data room, Q&A; management, covenant/supporting schedules, and liaison with bankers/lenders/transaction advisors
- Support management in business plan / valuation model inputs, scenario analysis, and sensitivity cases
- Manage cash flow forecasting, working capital, and treasury controls; maintain robust banking discipline and reconciliations
- Oversee direct/indirect tax compliance and assessments; ensure positions are documented and defensible
- Support CEO / CXOs on capex, new projects, pricing, and strategic initiatives through financial analysis and decision support

E. Systems & team leadership

- Strengthen ERP and finance systems controls (role-based access, approval matrices, master data governance); enable automation in close and reporting
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team; build a culture of integrity, ownership, and continuous improvement
