Azure Network Engineer Job Description

Role Summary:
Seeking an Azure Network Engineer with experience in designing, implementing, and supporting cloud networking solutions on Microsoft Azure. The candidate should have knowledge of Azure networking services, connectivity solutions, security, and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, implement, and manage Azure network infrastructure.
- Configure and support Virtual Networks (VNet), Subnets, NSGs, Route Tables, and Load Balancers.
- Manage Azure VPN Gateway, ExpressRoute, DNS, and connectivity solutions.
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
- Implement network security best practices and access controls.
- Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and security teams for deployment and support.




- Maintain network documentation and operational procedures.

Required Skills:

- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure networking services.
- Knowledge of VNet Peering, Load Balancers, Application Gateway, VPN, and ExpressRoute.
- Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, Firewalls, and Network Security.
- Experience with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools.
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform/ARM/Bicep) is a plus.
- Valuable analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Certifications:

- Microsoft Azure Administrator (AZ-104)
- Microsoft Azure Network Engineer Associate (AZ-700) (Preferred)
