Overview

Prodapt is seeking a skilled GIS Full Stack Developer with extensive experience in GIS platforms such as ESRI, QGIS, and FME. The ideal candidate will have expertise in spatial database management using Oracle Spatial and PostgreSQL, proficiency in programming languages like Python, and experience with front-end technologies, web services, geospatial toolkits, and data integration.

Responsibilities

Software Development: Design, develop, and optimize software solutions for converting data between GIS systems.

Testing and Debugging: Test and debug the conversion engine to ensure data accuracy and integrity.

Documentation and Training: Document the conversion process and provide training to end-users as necessary.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and develop solutions that align with business needs.

Spatial Database Management: Design, develop, and maintain spatial databases, ensuring efficient storage and management of geographic data.

Data Workflows:

Building ETL Scripts: Create and manage ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) scripts to streamline data processing.

Data Mapping: Design and implement data mapping solutions to ensure accurate data transfer between GIS systems.

Data Cleansing: Perform data cleansing tasks to maintain the quality and integrity of geographic data.

GIS Software Integration: Integrate GIS software like ArcGIS,



QGIS with spatial databases, and customize front-end interfaces with custom commands.

Front-End Development: Develop and customize front-end applications using React, Typescript, JavaScript, Python and related technologies, integrating GIS functionalities.

API Integration: Implement and integrate REST, SOAP, WFS, and WMS APIs for enhanced GIS functionality.

Geospatial Toolkits: Utilize geospatial toolkits such as MapInfo, PostGIS, and GeoServer for application development and problem-solving.

Continual Learning: Stay updated with the latest GIS technologies and methodologies to continually enhance the conversion engine and overall system performance.

Requirements

Required Skills:

- Proficiency in GIS platforms (ESRI, QGIS, FME).
- Expertise in spatial database management (Oracle Spatial, PostgreSQL).
- Strong programming skills (Python, .NET).
- Front-end development experience (React, JavaScript).
- Experience with geospatial/transfer data formats (JSON, XML).
- Familiarity with web services (WFS, WMS) and API integration.
- Experience in building ETL scripts, data mapping, and data cleansing.
- Ability to customize front-end interfaces and integrate GIS applications.
- Robust communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Domain: Knowledge of Telecom and utility networks.
