Position Summary
The Vice President HR, IR, ESG, Sustainability & Compliance will serve as a strategic partner to the Board of Directors and Executive Leadership Team, driving the organization's Human Capital Strategy, Industrial Relations, ESG initiatives, Sustainability programs, Corporate Governance, and Compliance Framework.
The role requires a visionary leader who can build a high-performance manufacturing culture, strengthen leadership capability, drive workforce productivity, ensure regulatory compliance, lead organizational transformation, and establish JC Global as one of India's best workplaces within the recycling and process manufacturing industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Human Capital Strategy
- Develop and implement the long-term Human Capital Strategy aligned with the company's business vision.
- Partner with the Board in workforce planning and organizational transformation.
- Build a high-performance, values-driven, and accountable organizational culture.
- Lead strategic HR initiatives supporting business expansion and manufacturing growth.
- Establish workforce plans for new plants and business diversification.
2. Board Governance & Corporate HR Governance
- Present Human Capital Strategy and workforce analytics to the Board.
- Develop Board-level HR dashboards and governance reports.
- Lead succession planning for executive leadership.
- Develop executive compensation and leadership review frameworks.
- Drive HR governance, policy management, ethics, and organizational accountability.
- Support enterprise risk management from a Human Capital perspective.
3. Manufacturing HR Leadership
Lead HR across manufacturing plants by driving:
- Workforce Planning
- Shift Manpower Planning
- Plant Productivity Improvement
- Multi-skilling
- Competency Mapping
- Skill Matrix
- Operator Certification Programs
- Contractor Workforce Governance
- Shop-floor Engagement

Develop HR systems specifically suited for recycling, polymer, and process manufacturing industries.
4. Industrial Relations (IR)
- Develop and maintain harmonious industrial relations.
- Lead negotiations with employees, unions, and workforce representatives where applicable.
- Ensure effective grievance redressal mechanisms.
- Conduct disciplinary proceedings and domestic enquiries.
- Strengthen employee communication and workplace harmony.
- Develop proactive industrial relations strategies to minimize disputes.
5. ESG & Sustainability Leadership
Lead the Social and Governance pillars of ESG by implementing:

6. Environmental Compliance & Regulatory Coordination
Work closely with EHS, Operations, and Plant Leadership to ensure regulatory compliance.
Coordinate with:
- Tamil Nadu Pollution Control Board (TNPCB)
- Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB)
- Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEF&CC;)
- Directorate of Industrial Safety & Health (DISH)
- Labour Department
- Fire & Rescue Services
- District Administration
- Factory Inspectorate
- Other statutory authorities
Support regulatory inspections, environmental audits, consent renewals, and compliance initiatives while fostering a strong environmental and safety culture across the workforce.

Lead people readiness and governance for:

Preferred Experience
- 15–25 years of progressive HR leadership experience.
- Minimum 10 years in manufacturing or process industries.
- Experience in recycling, polymers, plastics, petrochemicals, chemicals, engineering, automotive, metals, cement, paper, FMCG, or other continuous process industries.
- Demonstrated experience leading multi-location manufacturing HR.
- Proven expertise in Industrial Relations, ESG, Sustainability, Compliance, Organizational Development, and Board-level reporting.
- Experience preparing organizations for certifications, audits, governance frameworks, and high-growth transformation.

Mandatory
