Job Description Accounts Executive (FinTech SaaS)

Position: Accounts Executive

Salary: 3,00,000 – 4,00,000 per annum

About the Company

We are a rapidly growing FinTech SaaS company providing technology solutions to NBFCs, financial institutions, and businesses. Our platform enables digital lending, collections, customer engagement, payment processing, and workflow automation. We are looking for an Accounts Executive who can efficiently manage accounting operations while supporting a fast-paced technology business.

Role Overview

The Accounts Executive will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, customer and vendor accounting, SaaS subscription billing, payment reconciliation, statutory compliance, and financial reporting. The role requires close coordination with Operations, Technology, Customer Success, and Partner NBFC teams to ensure financial accuracy and process efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

- Maintain books of accounts in accordance with accounting standards.
- Record day-to-day accounting transactions and journal entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR).
- Process vendor payments and customer receipts.
- Monitor customer outstanding payments and coordinate collections.
- Maintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules.

SaaS Billing & Revenue

- Generate customer invoices for SaaS subscription plans.
- Manage recurring monthly and annual billing.
- Reconcile subscription revenues with contracts and customer accounts.
- Track deferred revenue and renewal invoices.




- Support revenue recognition processes.

Payment & Banking Operations

- Perform daily bank reconciliations.
- Reconcile payment gateway transactions (Razorpay, Cashfree, PayU or similar).
- Reconcile settlements received from banking and payment partners.
- Monitor failed, pending, and reversed transactions.
- Support finance-related customer payment queries.

NBFC & Lending Partner Reconciliation

- Reconcile settlements with lending partners and NBFCs.
- Verify disbursement and repayment reports.
- Assist in reconciliation of co-lending transactions.
- Prepare partner-wise reconciliation reports.
- Coordinate with Operations for discrepancy resolution.

Compliance & Taxation

- Prepare GST workings and support GST return filings.
- Prepare TDS calculations and reconciliation.
- Support statutory audit, tax audit, and internal audit.
- Maintain compliance documentation and statutory records.

MIS & Reporting

- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports.
- Track revenue, collections, receivables, and expenses.
- Prepare cash flow reports.
- Assist management with budgeting and financial analysis.
- Generate dashboards for business performance.

Process Improvement

- Identify opportunities to automate accounting and reconciliation processes.
- Maintain proper accounting documentation and SOPs.
- Ensure compliance with internal financial controls.
- Support ERP and accounting system improvements.





Required Qualifications

- B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance), or equivalent.
- 2–4 years of accounting experience.
- Experience in a FinTech, SaaS, NBFC, banking, or technology company is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
- Experience with Tally Prime, Zoho Books, Busy, or similar accounting software.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (Pivot Tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, IF functions, dashboards).
- Familiarity with payment gateways and digital payment reconciliation is an advantage.

- Accurate payment gateway and NBFC settlement reconciliations.
- Timely preparation of MIS reports.
- Continuous improvement through automation and process optimization.
