Title: Microsoft 365 Platform Manager

Location: Permanent Work from Home.

Position Summary:

The Microsoft 365 Platform Manager is responsible for the strategy, administration, governance, security, and operational management of the organizations Microsoft 365 environment. This role oversees collaboration, messaging, endpoint management, and compliance services while ensuring platform reliability, security, and alignment with business objectives. The M365 Platform Manager collaborates with infrastructure, security, networking, and application teams to deliver a secure and modern digital workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

- Administration and governance of the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and Microsoft Intune.
- Develop and execute the Microsoft 365 roadmap, lifecycle management, and service improvement initiatives as needed.
- Manage platform performance, availability, licensing, and capacity planning.
- Partner with security teams to implement Microsoft Defender, Microsoft Purview, Data Loss Prevention (DLP), retention policies, and compliance controls.
- Collaborate with Identity and Access Management (IAM) teams to support Microsoft Entra ID, Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).
- Establish governance standards for collaboration, document management, Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API,



and Power Automate.
- Incident, change, and problem management activities while ensuring service level agreements (SLAs) are met.

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of enterprise Microsoft infrastructure experience.
- 4+ years managing Microsoft 365 environments.
- 3+ years in a technical leadership or management role.
- Experience supporting enterprise environments with 5,000+ users.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration, Azure, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with Microsoft Intune, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Defender, and Microsoft Purview.
- Proficiency with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph API.
- Robust understanding of ITIL service management practices.

Preferred Certifications:

- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert (MS-102)
- Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
- Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300)
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104)
- ITIL 4 Foundation
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
