We are looking for a Software Engineer in Test 3 with 69 years of experience in test automation. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Playwright with TypeScript for web automation, Karate for REST API/Web Services testing, and Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline integration.
Key Responsibilities
Test Automation
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright with TypeScript.
- Perform REST API and Web Services testing using Karate.
- Validate application functionality through automated testing.
- Execute and maintain regression test suites.
CI/CD Integration
- Integrate automated test execution with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Monitor and maintain automated test execution.
Testing & Support
- Prepare test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute functional, API, and regression testing.
- Report, track, and validate defects.
Required Skills
- 69 years of experience in test automation.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright and TypeScript.
- Experience in REST API/Web Services testing using Karate.
- Experience with Jenkins CI/CD pipelines.
- Good oral communication skills.
Positive to Have
- Brokerage or Stock Plan domain knowledge.
- Accessibility Testing using NVDA or JAWS.
- Chaos Testing using Chaos Mesh, Chaos Buffet, or Gremlin.
- Performance Testing (e.g., Rush Hour).
Additional Requirements
- Good communication skills.
- Willing to work in the 10:30 AM – 8:30 PM shift.
- Willing to work from the client location at DLF Downtown, Tharamani, Chennai.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment.
- Willing to work from the office as per business requirements.
