Role & responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable applications using Python.
- Build RESTful APIs and microservices using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or Django.
- Develop automation scripts and backend services.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD.
- Integrate code repositories, deployment processes, and testing frameworks within GitLab.
- Containerize applications using Docker and deploy on Kubernetes environments.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Ansible, or similar tools.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to streamline release processes.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues.




- Implement security best practices within CI/CD pipelines.
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and Agile ceremonies.

Preferred candidate profile

- 5-10 years of experience in Python development.
- Strong hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD pipeline implementation.
- Experience developing REST APIs and Microservices.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Positive understanding of DevOps methodologies and SDLC.
- Cloud deployment experience on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience with automated testing and deployment practices
