Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, modern cloud data platforms, AI/ML enablement, and scalable data engineering practices. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimizing enterprise-grade data pipelines and architectures that support advanced analytics, machine learning, AI/GenAI initiatives, and business intelligence solutions.

This role requires hands-on expertise in data engineering, cloud platforms, data modeling, orchestration, and enabling AI/ML workflows through scalable and high-quality data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

Data Engineering Platform Development

- Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines for batch and real-time processing.

- Develop and optimize enterprise data platforms using Snowflake and cloud-native technologies.

- Build robust ETL/ELT frameworks for ingesting, transforming, and processing structured and unstructured data.

- Implement scalable data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures.

- Optimize data storage, query performance, and compute utilization within Snowflake environments.

- Develop reusable data engineering frameworks and best practices.

Snowflake Engineering Optimization

- Architect and manage Snowflake data platform capabilities including:

- Snowpipe

- Streams Tasks

- Time Travel





- Secure Data Sharing

- Cloning

- Materialized Views

- Data Marketplace Integrations

- Implement performance tuning, workload optimization, and cost governance strategies.

- Design secure and scalable Snowflake data models and schemas.

- Enable enterprise-grade governance, monitoring, and access controls within Snowflake.

Required Skills

- Solid expertise in Snowflake, SQL, Python, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT pipeline development and data orchestration.

- Experience with data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures.

- Strong understanding of data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning.

- Experience supporting analytics, AI/ML, and BI workloads.

- Knowledge of cloud-native data engineering best practices and governance frameworks.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Spark, PySpark, Databricks, Kafka, or Airflow.

- Exposure to AI/ML and GenAI data enablement workflows.

- Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps, and Infrastructure as Code concepts.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor?s or Master?s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or related technical disciplines.
