Role & Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows using VMware vRealize Automation (vRA 8.x) and vRealize Orchestrator (vRO 8.x).
- Create and manage vRA Blueprints (YAML), service catalogs, and self-service provisioning solutions.
- Develop automation scripts using JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and Bash.
- Build and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using Terraform.
- Configure and manage Ansible Tower and develop Ansible Playbooks for configuration management.
- Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration across Windows, Linux, VMware vSphere, AWS, and Azure environments.
- Troubleshoot and support automation platforms, workflows, and orchestration services.
- Integrate automation with enterprise infrastructure using VMware REST APIs and third-party tools.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure, Database, Middleware, Security, Operations, and Engineering teams to deliver scalable automation solutions.
- Document automation workflows, create functional test cases, and follow enterprise best practices.





Preferred Candidate Profile

- 5+ years of experience in Infrastructure Automation, VMware Administration, or DevOps.
- Strong hands-on experience with VMware vRealize Automation (vRA 8.x), vRealize Orchestrator (vRO 8.x), and VMware vSphere.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, PowerShell, and Bash scripting.
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible Tower, and Ansible Playbooks.
- Positive knowledge of Windows and Linux administration.
- Exposure to AWS and/or Microsoft Azure cloud environments.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation workflows, and configuration management.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- VMware Automation or Cloud certifications are an added advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
