MedPlus Pharmacy is looking for a dedicated and customer-focused Pharmacy Assistant to support day-to-day pharmacy operations. The ideal candidate will assist customers, maintain inventory, ensure accurate billing, and help pharmacists provide quality healthcare services while maintaining company standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist customers in purchasing medicines and healthcare products.
- Support the pharmacist in dispensing medicines as per prescriptions.
- Verify product availability and organize medicines on shelves.
- Ensure proper storage of medicines according to company and regulatory guidelines.
- Perform billing and cash handling using the POS system.
- Monitor stock levels and report low-stock or expired products.
- Receive, unpack, and arrange incoming stock.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the pharmacy.
- Handle customer inquiries and provide excellent customer service.
- Assist in inventory audits and stock reconciliation.
- Follow SOPs, company policies, and pharmacy regulations.
- Coordinate with the store team to achieve sales and service targets.
Eligibility
- D.Pharm / B.Pharm
- Experience in retail pharmacy is preferred but not mandatory.
- Basic computer knowledge.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
