Role & responsibilities
- Lead package engineering activities for rotating equipment and process packages.
- Prepare and issue technical specifications and equipment lists.
- Coordinate vendor selection activities, including technical bid evaluation (TBE), bid clarification meetings, and technical offer reviews.
- Manage package engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle (Pre-PO, Post-PO, FAT, Engineering Support, and Commissioning).
- Ensure package compliance with project specifications and client requirements.
- Interface with multidisciplinary engineering teams, supply chain, vendors, and project stakeholders.
- Provide technical support during Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT), safety studies, commissioning, and project execution.
- Work with process pumps, process compressors, utility pumps, and rotating equipment packages used in Offshore Oil & Gas projects.
- Ensure compliance with international engineering codes, standards, and best engineering practices.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 12 years of experience in Rotating Equipment Engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Minimum 3 years of Offshore Oil & Gas project experience.
- FPSO project experience is highly preferred.
- Solid experience in Package Engineering, FEED, Detailed Engineering, Technical Specifications, Vendor Management, Technical Bid Evaluation (TBE), and Commissioning Support.
- Hands-on experience with Process Pumps, Process Compressors, Utility Pumps, Chemical Injection Packages, Dehydration Packages, Inert Gas Generator (IGG), HPU, and other rotating equipment packages.
- Working knowledge of PV Elite, Compress, AutoCAD, and Navisworks 3D will be an advantage.
- Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in multidisciplinary engineering teams.
