Role & responsibilities

Responsible for production, optimal resource utilization,end to end factory operations with focus on safety, delivery, cost, and people excellence.

1: Planning, Stability & Readiness

Objective:

Ensure production continuity, resource readiness, and operational stability.

- Prepare weekly production schedules and equipment loading plans to meet demand.
- Align manpower, machines, and materials through proactive resource planning.
- Ensure uninterrupted operations by addressing constraints early.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (PPC, Maintenance, Quality, Supply Chain).
- Identify and control immediate HSE risks; ensure SOP and ISO compliance.
- Respond effectively to process deviations and emergencies.

2: Performance Monitoring & Control

Objective:

Control losses, improve cell performance, and maintain cost discipline.

- Conduct regular loss hour and cell performance reviews.
- Perform process parameter audits to ensure consistent product quality.
- Monitor internal and external customer complaints and drive reduction.
- Track budget performance, analyze variances, and control variable costs.

3) Root Cause Elimination & Improvement

Eliminate chronic issues and strengthen process robustness.





- Lead structured problem-solving using:
- Why Why Analysis
- Cause & Effect Diagrams
- 8D Methodology
- Implement permanent corrective and preventive actions.
- Execute focused improvement projects for productivity, utilization, and flow.
- Drive engineering controls to eliminate or reduce operational and safety risks.
- Standardize best practices across lines/cells.

4) Capability Building & Cost Optimization:

Build a competent team and optimize long-term cost and capacity.

- Enhance team competency through structured, role-based training.
- Lead, motivate, and manage personnel in coordination with Plant Head.
- Prepare annual budgets and resource plans in line with company planning cycles.
- Optimize manpower, equipment usage, and operational expenses.

5) Continuous Improvement & Strategic Excellence:

Achieve operational excellence and long-term competitiveness.

- Drive continuous improvement culture across manufacturing operations.
- Improve organizational processes within the area of responsibility.
- Align factory performance with business and strategic objectives.
