About the role

Launch3d is a motion-first company building cinematic launch systems for Web3, AI, SaaS, and high-attention product launches. We're hiring a Motion Systems Designer to join our growing India-based production pod someone with strong After Effects skills who wants motion design to be their core craft, not a side task under generic video editing.

This is not a freelance gig and not a basic editing job. You'll work inside a structured production setting, building both client-facing motion assets and reusable internal motion systems (templates, precomps, animation rigs) that make Launch3d faster and better over time.

What you'll do

- Create high-quality 1015 second launch and product motion assets
- Animate UI, typography, product moments, launch claims, and social-ready sequences
- Produce derivative assets: vertical edits, cutdowns, loops, stills, campaign variations
- Build clean, well-organized After Effects files that other designers can reuse
- Convert repeated motion patterns into reusable Launch3d templates and components
- Use AI tools internally to speed up ideation,

Work split

- 70% — Client motion production
- 20% — Reusable Launch3d template/IP system building
- 10% — AI-assisted workflow and documentation

What we expect

- Daily start-of-day and end-of-day progress updates — no silent work, no surprise delays
- Work-in-progress previews before final delivery
- Clean, labelled, reusable After Effects files
- Fast turnaround on reasonable revisions
- Early flagging of blockers
- Strong ownership of deadlines and quality

What success looks like

- 3–5 polished short motion assets per week (or one hero asset + derivatives)
- Files clean enough for another designer to pick up and continue
- At least one new reusable component contributed per week
- Proactive communication before problems arise, not after deadlines are missed
