Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Incharge – Mechanical to oversee and manage the Ash Handling Plant (AHP) operations and maintenance at our Thermal Power Plant. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of hands-on experience in AHP systems, with a proven track record in team leadership, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal plant availability and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and manage the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the Ash Handling Plant (AHP).
• Ensure continuous availability and reliability of mechanical systems involved in AHP including pneumatic and hydraulic conveying systems, slurry pumps, pipelines, ESP hoppers, etc.
• Supervise a team of mechanical engineers, technicians, and support staff; assign tasks and monitor performance.
• Implement preventive and corrective maintenance schedules; ensure adherence to maintenance best practices.




• Coordinate with operations, electrical, instrumentation, and other cross-functional teams for smooth plant functioning.
• Troubleshoot mechanical failures and breakdowns, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain records of maintenance logs, spares inventory, and equipment history.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and statutory regulations.
• Monitor and control maintenance costs; optimize spare parts and consumables usage.
• Ensure proper training and skill development of the O&M; team.
• Prepare regular reports on plant performance, downtime, maintenance activities, and improvements.

Desired Profile:
• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in AHP operations & maintenance in thermal power plants.
• In-depth knowledge of AHP systems in a thermal power plant environment.
• Strong understanding of mechanical maintenance practices and equipment.
• Proven ability to lead, manage, and motivate cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective coordination and reporting.
• Robust problem-solving and analytical abilities.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) is preferred.

Note: Ideal candidate should have good experience in Thermal Power Plant (Speaking in Telugu is must)
