Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Welding Robot Operator with 26 years of experience in robotic welding operations and programming. The candidate should have hands-on experience in robot setup, programming, troubleshooting, and maintaining welding quality while ensuring safe and efficient production.

Key Responsibilities

* Operate and monitor robotic welding machines to achieve production targets.

* Create, modify, and optimise robot welding programs.

* Perform robot teaching (Teach Pendant Programming) for new components.

* Set up welding fixtures, jigs, and workpieces.

* Ensure weld quality as per engineering drawings and WPS requirements.

* Conduct first-off inspection and in-process quality checks.

* Troubleshoot robot, welding, and fixture-related issues.

* Change welding consumables such as tips, nozzles, liners, and contact tips.

* Perform routine preventive maintenance and daily machine checks.

* Coordinate with Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.

* Follow 5S, Kaizen, TPM, and all safety standards.





* Maintain production records and downtime reports.

* Reduce cycle time and improve productivity through continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Skills

* Hands-on experience in robotic welding operations.

* Robot programming using Teach Pendant.

* Knowledge of MIG/MAG welding parameters.

* Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T; basics.

* Understanding of welding symbols and inspection methods.

* Experience in robot troubleshooting and fault diagnosis.

* Knowledge of welding fixtures and tooling.

* Positive communication and teamwork skills.

* Strong focus on safety, quality, and productivity.
