Job Description

We are looking for a Senior/Lead WebFOCUS skilled responsible for designing,



developing, and supporting enterprise reporting and analytics solutions. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in IBM WebFOCUS, strong data engineering fundamentals, and the ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor teams.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of WebFOCUS reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Build and optimize complex reporting solutions using WebFOCUS Developer Studio and InfoAssist
• Develop reusable components, metadata, and reporting frameworks
• Ensure performance tuning and optimization of WebFOCUS applications
• Troubleshoot production issues and provide L3 support
• Lead code reviews, enforce best practices, and ensure quality delivery
• Work with cross-functional teams including data engineering, BI, and business users
• Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance

Required Skills & Experience
• 8+ years of experience in BI/Analytics with strong WebFOCUS expertise
• Hands-on experience with:
o WebFOCUS Developer Studio
o App Studio / InfoAssist
o ReportCaster / scheduling and distribution
• Strong knowledge of:
o FOCUS / WebFOCUS scripting (Dialogue Manager)
o SQL and relational databases
• Expertise in:
o Data modeling and reporting layer design
o Performance tuning and query optimization
