About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and energetic Accounts Manager to lead our end-to-end accounting and finance operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong technical accounting expertise, excellent leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage multiple stakeholders while driving operational excellence. This role requires a hands-on qualified with exceptional communication skills, strong analytical abilities, and a passion for building high-performing teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end accounting operations, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, and Bank Reconciliations.
- Ensure timely month-end, quarter-end, and year-end financial closures.
- Prepare accurate financial statements, MIS reports, and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements, including GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, ROC filings, and other regulatory compliances.
- Coordinate and manage internal, statutory, tax, and external audits.
- Manage vendor payment processing and ensure timely payments with proper approvals and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for finance and accounting processes.
- Develop, implement, and monitor accounting policies, internal controls, and financial processes.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management activities.
- Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with senior management and business teams to support strategic financial decisions.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with auditors, bankers, consultants, vendors, and other external stakeholders.
- Ensure timely reporting to management with actionable financial insights.
- Handle financial analysis, variance reporting, and cost optimization initiatives.

Team Management

- Lead, mentor,



and manage the finance and accounts team.
- Allocate work, monitor productivity, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, coaching, and employee development.
- Build a high-performance culture focused on accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Develop succession plans and strengthen team capabilities through training and mentoring.

Required Skills

- Strong expertise in end-to-end accounting and financial reporting.
- In-depth knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, Companies Act, and statutory compliances.
- Excellent leadership and people management skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building abilities.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial reporting, business correspondence, and email communication.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Experience in FMCG, Logistics, Retail, or Startup environments will be an added advantage.
- Experience working with NetSuite ERP will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

- Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred. CA Inter / CMA / MBA (Finance) / M.Com with relevant experience may also apply.
- 1215 years of experience in accounting, finance, statutory compliance, and team management.
