Role & responsibilities

- Operate and monitor ZLD, MVRE, MEE, Boiler, ATFD, ETP, STP and DI/WTP systems during assigned shifts.
- Ensure uninterrupted supply of DI water, treated water and steam to production.
- Operate RO, UF, EDI, Mixed Bed, Softener and DI Water Distribution systems.
- Operate Neutralization System, Bulk Chemical Storage & Transfer System and Filter Press.
- Monitor Rinse Water, Concentrate, Reject Water and Acid/Alkaline systems.
- Maximize water recovery while ensuring Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) compliance.
- Monitor MVRE compressors, evaporators, boilers, condensate systems and ATFD performance.
- Monitor steam pressure, vacuum, feed concentration, evaporator temperatures and condensate quality.
- Operate STP process units, sludge dewatering system and filter press.
- Monitor process parameters including pH, Conductivity, Resistivity, TOC, COD, BOD, TDS, MLSS, pressure, temperature, flow and water quality.
- Monitor pumps, motors, compressors, vacuum pumps, blowers, valves, heat exchangers, storage tanks and transfer pumps.
- Monitor chemical preparation, storage, dosing systems and tank levels for acid, alkali, polymer and other treatment chemicals.
- Inspect pipelines, filters, membranes and utility equipment for abnormalities and leakages.
- Carry out routine inspections and support preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and CIP activities.
- Replace filters, cartridges and assist in membrane cleaning as required.
- Maintain shift logbooks and record operating parameters including steam consumption, water recovery, sludge generation, salt disposal and equipment performance.
- Coordinate with laboratory for water quality analysis and process optimization.
- Prepare detailed shift handover reports and communicate operational abnormalities.
- Follow all SOPs related to ZLD, Boiler, MEE, MVRE, ETP, STP, DI Plant, RO, UF, EDI and associated utility systems.
- Ensure strict adherence to EHS requirements, PTW, LOTO and statutory environmental regulations.





Preferred candidate profile

To operate, monitor and maintain all Water & Wastewater Utility Systems including ZLD Plant, MVRE, MEE, Boiler, ATFD, ETP, STP, DI Water Treatment Plant (DI/WTP), RO, UF, EDI, Softener, Mixed Bed, Neutralization System, Chemical Handling Systems and Water Distribution Network, ensuring uninterrupted utility supply, maximum water recovery, statutory environmental compliance, safe operations and continuous support to manufacturing activities.

Experience

- 35 years of experience in Industrial Utility Operations involving one or more of the following:
- ZLD Plant
- MEE / MVRE
- Boiler Operations
- ETP / STP
- DI Water Treatment Plant
- RO / UF / EDI Systems
- Water & Wastewater Treatment Plants
