We are looking for a strong handson Senior Cloud Application Engineer / Offshore Technical Lead to support and drive delivery for our Azurehosted Investran platform. This is a critical executionfocused role, where the individual is expected to take ownership, work closely with DevOps engineers, and actively drive outcomes across cloud, application, and deployment areas.

This is not a supportonly role and not a pure DevOps role.

Primary Responsibilities

- Partner closely with DevOps engineers to manage and support Azurehosted application environments (VMs / AKS)
- Drive execution of application upgrades, deployments, and overall workplace readiness
- Troubleshoot complex issues spanning cloud infrastructure, application runtime, deployments, and data
- Analyze and debug CI/CD pipelines, deployment failures, and configuration issues
- Take ownership of assigned workstreams and drive them to closure independently
- Review existing cloud implementations and deployment practices, and recommend improvements
- Coordinate effectively across application SMEs, DevOps, and dependent teams to ensure delivery
- Contribute to automation, observability, and platform reliability improvements

Required Skills (Priority Order)

Strong ownership mindset with the ability to lead execution independently
2. Handson experience with Azure cloud (VMs, AKS, application hosting, networking basics)
3. Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, Jenkins) and deployment troubleshooting
4. Strong problemsolving and crosssystem troubleshooting skills
5. Workinglevel ability to understand and debug application behavior (.NET / APIs)
6. Experience operating within complex enterprise or vendor application environments
7. Strong coordination and communication skills
8. Working knowledge of SQL for troubleshooting
9. Ability to challenge existing implementations and propose improvements

Nice to Have

- Experience with InfrastructureasCode (Terraform)
- Exposure to monitoring / observability tools (App Insights, Splunk, Grafana, etc.)
- Financial services or investment platform experience

Additional Notes

- This is a handson, executiondriven role with clear technical leadership expectations
- We already have DevOps capability; we are not looking for a pure DevOps engineer
- The candidate must be comfortable taking ownership and driving outcomes in a complex environment
- Independent thinking, healthy challenge, and continuous improvement mindset are critical
