Job Title: Edge Infrastructure Engineer (IIoT)

We build advanced computer vision and industrial AI solutions for complex environments like logistics and manufacturing. We are scaling critical Yard, Warehouse Infrastructure at major manufacturing facilities. This role is the operational backbone for a high-stakes, hybrid edge environment involving automated gate and mobile yard equipment, AI cameras, vehicle-mounted servers, asset tracking. Youll be backed by a collaborative engineering team that shares knowledge openly, supports each other across time zones, and treats every opportunity as a chance to learn and improve together.

Key Responsibilities
Incident Management & Rapid Triage: Act as the first responder for active deployment sites. Quickly differentiate between a software fault, a network drop, or physical hardware degradation (e.g., vibration damage to an IP66-rated enclosure) and drive resolution.
Customer & Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for customers and on-site personnel. Communicate directly with stakeholders to diagnose problems, provide status updates, and drive incidents to resolution with explicit, professional English.
¢ Edge Linux & Bare-Metal Diagnostics: Remotely manage headless Ubuntu edge servers. Troubleshoot low-level BIOS configurations, boot-level failures, and containerized AI applications (Docker/NVIDIA DeepStream) without dropping the node.
¢ Network, Switch, & Router Troubleshooting: Maintain and debug the physical and logical network backbonerouters, managed switches, dual-WAN failover configurations, and VLAN routing across the yard footprint.
¢ Camera & IoT Sensor Networking: Manage the network demands of high-bandwidth computer vision and low-latency sensors. Troubleshoot PoE power budgets on edge switches, stabilize RTSP camera streams, and ensure reliable packet delivery for IoT sensor arrays.
¢ Site Survey & Infrastructure Planning:



Participate actively in initial site surveys for new deploymentsevaluating physical layouts, recommending hardware placement, validating network coverage, and defining Bills of Materials. Own and document infrastructure best practices that become the playbook for every future site rollout.
¢ Sensor & Peripheral Triage: Diagnose complex data streams from specialized hardwareverify NMEA streams from GNSS/RTK positioning sensors, check serial/USB connections, and validate vision pipelines before escalating to the core development team.
¢ Application & Event State Debugging: Parse system logs and understand API event lifecycles to diagnose operational failures

Skills & Requirements
¢ Linux Mastery: Deep comfort with Linux command-line operations, bash scripting, and managing services via system, pm2 etc. This is your primary working environment.
¢ Network & Infrastructure Fluency: Strong practical knowledge of TCP/IP, routing, switching, BIOS management, and the nuances of camera/IoT networking (PoE, RTSP, bandwidth management) in intermittent RF/wireless environments.
¢ Domain Background: Experience in Robotics, Telematics, Industrial IoT (IIoT), or Operational Technology (OT).
¢ Hardware Intuition: You understand the physical realities of industrial hardwarepower draw limits, serial interfaces (RS232/RS485, USB-C), and ruggedized environments.
¢ Communication: Clear, professional Englishwritten and verbalto manage incidents and interface directly with customers and stakeholders across time zones.

¢ Knowledge of Bash and Python scripting for automation and diagnostics.
¢ Proficiency with Jira, Freshdesk, and monitoring dashboards (e.g., Grafana or similar).

¢ Previous experience supporting industrial, automotive, or logistics sites remotely across time zones.
