Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Procurement Manager to lead end-to-end procurement activities for Solar EPC projects. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in sourcing major electrical and solar equipment, vendor development, techno-commercial evaluations, purchase order management, logistics coordination, and project procurement. The role requires close coordination with engineering, project execution, logistics, and site teams to ensure timely delivery and successful execution of projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate with engineering teams to receive BOQs and technical specifications.
- Float RFQs/RFPs for Solar Modules, Inverters, Batteries, Transformers, Switchgear, Generators, and other project equipment.
- Conduct vendor sourcing, technical evaluation, and techno-commercial comparisons.
- Negotiate commercial terms and finalize vendors.
- Prepare and issue Purchase Orders after obtaining necessary approvals.
- Coordinate advance payments and vendor confirmations.
- Track manufacturing schedules and ensure timely dispatch of materials.
- Coordinate Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) with engineering teams.
- Review and submit test certificates and dispatch documentation.




- Coordinate with logistics teams for timely delivery to project sites.
- Resolve procurement and delivery-related issues with vendors and site teams.
- Support installation and commissioning by coordinating with vendors and project execution teams.
- Manage project-specific local procurement activities to ensure timely project completion.

Preferred Candidate Profile

- 8+ years of procurement experience in Solar EPC, Renewable Energy, or Power Projects.
- Experience in procurement of Solar Modules, Inverters, Batteries, Transformers, Switchgear, HT/LT Panels, Generators, and other electrical equipment.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Positive understanding of technical specifications and commercial evaluations.
- Ability to coordinate with engineering, logistics, vendors, and project execution teams.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
