## About the role

We draft wills and lasting powers of attorney for clients across England and Wales. Our client meetings are recorded, so you draft from the client's own recorded instructions using our templates and case management system, with every document reviewed by a senior UK lawyer before it goes out. We are building a small permanent drafting team in India that works directly for the firm, with the same standing as our UK team.

## What you'll do

- Draft England & Wales wills and lasting powers of attorney from recorded client instruction meetings

- Prepare supporting documents and file notes to our templates and checklists

- Work with our UK-based reviewing lawyer, and act on review feedback

- Progress to more complex wills and estates as your knowledge grows

- Full training on English succession law is provided; we care about your legal ability and your written English

- Prior UK knowledge advantageous

## What you'll bring

- LLB from a recognised university (enrolment with a State Bar Council preferred)

- Excellent spoken English - clear accent

- Preferred (not essential): experience of UK legal process work wills, probate, estate planning or private client — at an LPO or law firm

## Process

1. Short application with two written questions (assessed on written English)

2. Paid drafting exercise from a sample recorded instruction (training materials provided)

3. Video interview with the firm's directors

4. Offer, references, and verification of your degree and bar enrolment
