Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks.
- Create manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and engineering documentation.
- Upload, release, and manage design data, revisions, and engineering changes (ECO/ECR) inside PLM/ERP systems
- Coordinate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Production teams.
- Assist in prototype development, testing, and design validation.

Preferred candidate profile

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 80% aggregate marks.
- 2 to 4 years of hands-on experience in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Experience in creating and managing engineering drawings, BOMs, and design documentation.
- Exposure to PLM/ERP systems for design data management, revision control, and engineering change management (ECO/ECR).
- Valuable knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;,



tolerance stack-up, limits & fits, and drawing interpretation.
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes (machining, sheet metal, casting, and welding).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks for 3D modeling and 2D drafting.
- Basic understanding of engineering materials, mechanical components, and design principles.
- Apply basic engineering knowledge to optimize designs for weight reduction, cost, and manufacturing feasibility (DFM/DFA)product improvement and cost reduction initiatives.
- Ability to prepare and update engineering drawings and BOMs.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills
