Sukan Engineering Pvt. Ltd. (established 1988) is a channel partner and authorized distributor for leading global automation and instrumentation principals including Emerson (Rosemount, Fisher, ASCO, Aventics), Danfoss, AUMA and Corning. We supply and support instrumentation, control valves, actuators and allied products for nuclear (NPCIL), thermal and gas power stations, as well as a wide range of process industries across India, working closely with major utilities, PSUs and EPCs.

The Role

We are looking for a technically strong, self-driven Sales Engineer to own and grow sales across the Kutch / Gandhidham region for our Emerson and AUMA product lines — process instrumentation, control valves, actuators and pneumatics. You will manage the full sales cycle in the field: developing new accounts, deepening existing relationships, understanding customer applications, and recommending the right solution to end users, EPCs, consultants and OEMs across the region's power, ports, chemical, cement, oil & gas and water-treatment industries.

Product Portfolio You'll Represent

Rosemount (Emerson) — pressure, temperature, level and flow transmitters; analytical and gas/flame detection instrumentation.

Fisher (Emerson) — control valves, regulators, actuators and digital valve controllers.

ASCO (Emerson) — solenoid and process valves (EMV) and safety shut-off valves.

Aventics (Emerson) — pneumatic valves, cylinders and air-preparation systems.

AUMA — electric valve actuators (multi-turn and part-turn / MOV), actuator controls and gearboxes.

Key Responsibilities

Drive sales and achieve targets across the assigned territory for the full Emerson and AUMA product range.

Identify and develop new business while managing and growing existing accounts — end users, EPCs, consultants and OEMs.

Understand customer applications and requirements, and recommend the correct instrumentation, control valve, actuator or pneumatic solution.





Conduct site visits, technical presentations and product demonstrations; generate and follow up on enquiries.

Prepare and present techno-commercial offers (with inside sales / HO support), negotiate and close orders.

Build strong relationships with plant projects, maintenance and procurement teams across power plants, ports, chemical/petrochemical, cement, oil & gas and water/effluent treatment facilities.

Coordinate with principals (Emerson, AUMA) for product sizing/selection, technical support and pricing.

Maintain the opportunity pipeline and sales forecasts in Zoho CRM.

Provide after-sales coordination and ongoing customer support; gather market and competitor intelligence.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Diploma, B.E. or B.Tech in Instrumentation & Control, Electronics & Communication, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Minimum 3 years of technical / industrial sales experience — preferably in instrumentation, control valves, actuators or process automation.

Understanding of process instrumentation (pressure / temperature / flow / level), control valves, electric (MOV) and solenoid (EMV) actuators and pneumatics — or a strong technical aptitude and willingness to learn these product lines.

Willingness to travel extensively across the territory; valid driving licence (own vehicle preferred).

Based in, or willing to relocate to, Bhuj / Gandhidham / Kutch.

Solid communication, presentation and negotiation skills in English, Gujarati and Hindi.

Preferred / Added Advantage

Existing relationships with end users, EPCs or consultants in the Kutch / Gandhidham industrial belt.

Experience selling Emerson, AUMA or competing brands (e.g. Yokogawa, ABB, Honeywell, Siemens, Rotork, Flowserve).

Exposure to the power, oil & gas, chemical or ports / infrastructure sectors.
