CTC: 8LPA to 10 LPA

Job Summary

URVA Consulting, a reputed Recruitment Consulting and Resource Management firm, has been mandated by one of its esteemed clients to hire a Senior Accountant for their Agri Commodities Trading & Processing business based in Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in trading accounting, inventory accounting, GST, MIS, audit support, import accounting, banking, and financial reporting. Candidates from Agri Commodities, Commodity Trading, Import-Export, or Processing industries will be highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage complete books of accounts in Tally ERP.
- Handle purchase, sales, expense, and payment accounting.
- Process sales invoicing, purchase booking, and expense booking.
- Perform inventory accounting, warehouse accounting, and stock reconciliation.
- Prepare monthly MIS, profitability reports, and management reports.
- Conduct monthly closing, provisions, and ledger reconciliation.
- Handle GST compliance, return preparation, and statutory filings.
- Manage TDS accounting, monthly payments, and salary-related TDS.
- Coordinate finalization of accounts and statutory audits.
- Handle bank transactions and reconciliation.
- Manage forex payments and import invoice accounting.




- Coordinate import documentation and trade-related accounting.
- Maintain cash book and banking records.
- Handle e-Invoicing and e-Way Bills.
- Monitor receivables and support collection tracking.
- Prepare brokerage workings and other periodic financial reports.

- 8 to 10 years of accounting experience
- Experience in trading or commodity-based businesses is mandatory
- Hands-on exposure to inventory accounting, GST, banking, and monthly closing
- Experience in import-export accounting will be an added advantage
