Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic HR & IR professional to lead Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Administration, Compliance, and CSR functions for a large manufacturing/export-oriented operation. The role requires expertise in workforce management, statutory compliance, labor relations, operational efficiency, and employee engagement while ensuring alignment with organizational growth objectives and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Human Resources & Workforce Management
- Lead HR operations within manufacturing/ export operations.
- Design and implement annual wage structures, daily wage models,
piece-rate systems, and wage revision frameworks.
- Manage HR budgeting, manpower planning, and workforce optimization initiatives.
- Drive productivity improvement and cost optimization programs through technology adoption and process efficiency initiatives.
- Develop and implement employee engagement, retention, and welfare initiatives.
Industrial Relations & Employee Relations
- Manage Industrial Relations (IR) and Employee Relations (ER) to ensure a harmonious work environment.
- Lead collective bargaining, grievance handling, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
- Liaise with labor unions, statutory authorities, and regulatory bodies.
- Ensure effective implementation of Standing Orders and labor law compliance frameworks.
- Maintain a positive industrial climate with proactive issue prevention and resolution.
Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and statutory requirements including:
- Factories Act
- CLRA (Contract Labour Regulation & Abolition Act)
- ESIC
- Provident Fund (PF)
- Bonus Act
- Gratuity Act
- Welfare Regulations
- Contract Labour Compliance
- Coordinate audits, inspections, and compliance reporting activities.
- Maintain audit readiness and ensure adherence to organizational governance standards.
Manufacturing Standards & Operational Excellence
- Support implementation and adherence to:
- GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices)
- ISO Standards
- FSSAI Guidelines
- HACCP Standards
- Collaborate with operations teams to strengthen process discipline and compliance culture.
Administration & Facilities Management
- Oversee general administration functions including:
- Security Management
- Transportation
- Canteen Operations
- Guest House Management
- Infrastructure Administration
- Ensure effective facility management and high employee service standards.
CSR & Stakeholder Management
- Lead Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives focused on community development, sustainability, and social impact.
- Manage internal and external stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Support leadership in organizational development and culture-building initiatives.
Capex & Infrastructure Management
- Manage Capex planning and infrastructure development initiatives.
- Ensure optimal utilization of resources aligned with long-term organizational objectives.
- Support modernization and technology-driven transformation initiatives.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelors/Masters degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Labor Laws, or related discipline.
- Experience in HR, IR, and Administration within manufacturing/export-oriented industries.
- Strong exposure to labor law compliance and unionized work environments.
- Proven experience in handling large workforce operations.
- Sound knowledge of statutory compliance, wage administration, and industrial relations practices.
- Experience in GMP, ISO, FSSAI, and HACCP compliance environments preferred.
- Strong leadership, negotiation, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
