We are seeking an experienced HR professional from a manufacturing/factory background to lead and manage key HR functions for both factory operations and the Chennai sales office. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of statutory compliance, employee relations, talent management, and organizational development, with the ability to maintain positive relationships with shop-floor employees and management teams.
- Handle labor law compliance and statutory audits.
- Liaise with government authorities and inspectors as required.
- Maintain harmonious industrial relations and employee discipline.
Employee Relations
- Build and maintain strong relationships with shop-floor employees and supervisors.
- Address employee grievances and support conflict resolution.
- Foster a positive work culture across factory and office teams.
Learning & Development
- Identify training needs and prepare annual training calendars.
- Organize and monitor employee training and development programs.
- Drive capability-building initiatives across all levels.
Employee Onboarding
- Manage recruitment coordination and onboarding processes.
- Ensure smooth induction and integration of current employees.
Capacity Building
- Develop employee competencies and leadership capabilities.
- Support succession planning and workforce development initiatives.
Performance Management
- Design, implement, and monitor the Performance Management System (PMS).
- Drive PMS processes for:
- Chennai Sales Team
- Factory Team
- Support managers in goal setting, performance reviews, and development planning.
Strategic Talent Management
- Develop and implement talent management and retention strategies.
- Identify high-potential employees and create development plans.
- Support organizational growth through effective workforce planning.
Desired Candidate Profile
- MBA/MSW in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
- 18+ years of HR experience, preferably in manufacturing/factory environments.
- Strong exposure to labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Experience in industrial relations and shop-floor employee management.
- Proven experience in training, PMS, talent management, and organizational development.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to relocate near the factory location.
