- Job Description:

Role: SAP Commerce Backend Consultant (Developer)Specific Role and Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain backend components within the SAP Commerce Cloud framework, focusing on B2C or B2B accelerators.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional requirements and implement scalable backend solutions.
- Develop and integrate APIs using OCC (Omni Commerce Connect) and REST/SOAP web services.
- Implement features using Java, Spring, and J2EE technologies within the Hybris architecture.
- Participate in code reviews, unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Support CI/CD processes using tools like Maven, Ant, and Jenkins.
- Work with version control systems such as Git.
- Assist with workplace setups and basic deployment tasks using Tomcat and Apache.
- Collaborate in agile sprints and contribute to team delivery in a global delivery model.

Requirements / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science,



Information Technology, or related field.
- 4 to 7 years of software development experience.
- Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience in SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) development.
- Proficiency in Java, Spring framework, and J2EE technologies.
- Experience with SAP Commerce modules like Backoffice, WCMS, Product Cockpit, and Promotions.
- Hands-on experience consuming and building REST/SOAP APIs.
- Working knowledge of Git, Maven/Ant, and Jenkins.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
- Experience working in agile teams and offshore-onsite delivery models.
- Nice to Have: Experience with SAP Commerce 6.x, CCv2, Headless Commerce, B2B/B2C accelerators, Tomcat/Apache deployments, relevant certifications, and familiarity with integration patterns such as JMS, ESB, or SOA.
