Role & responsibilities

Responsible for the design, review, and delivery of civil and structural engineering works for EHV Power Cable Systems, GIS/AIS Substations, Transmission & Distribution projects, and associated infrastructure. Ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, quality requirements, safety regulations, and project schedules.

Key Responsibilities

- Design civil and structural works including foundations, control/GIS buildings, cable trenches, RCC ducts, drainage systems, roads, culverts, boundary walls, and steel structures.
- Perform RCC and structural steel design, foundation design, and engineering calculations.
- Prepare and review GA drawings, civil layouts, foundation drawings, reinforcement details, BOQs, MTOs, and technical reports.
- Coordinate with electrical, mechanical, construction, site, client, consultant, and vendor teams.
- Provide technical support during construction, resolve site issues,



and review field modifications.
- Ensure compliance with IS, BIS, IEC, CEA, utility, and client standards.
- Support project planning, design reviews, risk assessments, value engineering, and cost optimization initiatives.

- EHV Underground Power Cable Projects
- GIS/AIS Substations (132kV, 220kV, 400kV+)
- Transmission & Distribution EPC Projects
- Renewable Energy and Utility Infrastructure Projects
- HDD, Thrust Boring, and Trenchless Technologies

Technical Skills

- AutoCAD, Civil 3D, STAAD Pro, ETABS, PROTECTED, Revit
- Structural Analysis & Design
- RCC & Structural Steel Design
- Foundation Design
- BOQ/MTO Preparation
- Geotechnical Interpretation
- Knowledge of IS, BIS, IEC, CEA, and PGCIL Standards
