Job Description: Consultant Medical Oncologist

Location: Patna, Bihar

Experience: Fresher to 4 Years

Qualification: DM in Medical Oncology or DrNB Medical Oncology (or equivalent recognized by NMC)

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Consultant Medical Oncologist to join our oncology team in Patna. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, treating, and managing patients with various types of cancer using evidence-based medical therapies.

Fresh DM/DrNB graduates and candidates with up to 4 years of post-qualification experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and manage patients with solid tumors and hematological malignancies requiring medical oncology care.

Expertise in chemotherapy, immunotherapy, targeted therapy, and supportive oncology care.

Evaluate patients in OPD, IPD, daycare chemotherapy units, and emergency settings as required.

Monitor treatment response, manage therapy-related complications, and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes.





Coordinate multidisciplinary care with surgical oncologists, radiation oncologists, pathologists, radiologists, and other specialists.

Counsel patients and their families regarding diagnosis, treatment options, prognosis, potential side effects, and follow-up care.

Ensure protected chemotherapy prescribing and adherence to established oncology protocols

Participate in tumor board meetings, clinical audits, CMEs, and academic activities.

Qualification & Experience

DM in Medical Oncology or DrNB Medical Oncology from a recognized institution.

Valid NMC/State Medical Council registration.
