- Documentation & CMMS: Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities, repairs, and machine performance using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Continuous Improvement: Analyze performance data to recommend machinery upgrades or process redesigns that boost reliability.
Requirements and Skills
- Education: A Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, or industrial engineering.
- Technical Proficiency: Deep understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, with the ability to read complex engineering schematics.
- Diagnostic Skills: Proficiency with condition-monitoring tools (e.g., vibration analyzers, thermal cameras) and CMMS platforms like Maximo or UpKeep.
- Certifications: Industry-recognized designations such as Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) or Certified Maintenance & Reliability Technician (CMRT) are highly valued.
