Fitter – Roles & Responsibilities (0–2 Years Experience)

- Assemble, fit, and install mechanical components and equipment as per specifications.
- Perform drilling, tapping, cutting, grinding, filing, and other fitting operations.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as vernier calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
- Inspect components for dimensional accuracy and quality before assembly.
- Carry out basic maintenance, repair, and replacement of mechanical parts.
- Assist senior technicians in machine installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting.
- Identify and report defects, equipment issues, and safety concerns.
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs), quality standards, and safety regulations.

Welder – Roles & Responsibilities (0–2 Years Experience)

- Perform welding operations using processes such as MIG, TIG, ARC (SMAW), or other assigned methods.
- Prepare materials for welding by cutting, grinding, cleaning,



and aligning components.
- Set up and operate welding machines, tools, and related equipment safely.
- Inspect welded joints for quality, strength, and dimensional accuracy.
- Carry out basic finishing work, including grinding, chipping, and polishing welds.
- Identify and report welding defects, equipment issues, or material discrepancies.
- Follow welding procedures, quality standards, and safety regulations at all times.
- Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintain a protected work environment.
- Perform basic maintenance and routine checks on welding equipment.
- Maintain production records and complete assigned work within the required timelines.
- Work closely with fitters, supervisors, and quality teams to achieve production targets.
