Role Overview:As a Data Science Engineer at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be part of the Smart Manufacturing and Artificial Intelligence organization. This team is responsible for defining, driving, and delivering end-to-end smart manufacturing solutions that are integrated across the various functions of the business. Your role will involve applying industry-leading methodologies in automation, AI, and machine learning to enhance Microns product development, business processes, and administrative processes.Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with an international team of data scientists, data engineers, software engineers, and I4 analysts to develop new data science solutions that improve operational efficiency and expand manufacturing capabilities.- Utilize your expertise in data-mining, data engineering, and visualization to identify valuable patterns in the datasets.- Work on projects with high impact in areas such as Fabrication plant, Assembly and Test, and Procurement.- Partner with the IT team on data management, including accessing and preparing necessary data, developing applications with user-friendly interfaces, integrating with existing systems, and showcasing successful use cases.- Design and enhance data acquisition and ETL pipelines from various sources into the big data ecosystem.- Create responsive web interfaces for result visualization and user interaction.- Develop intuitive user interfaces for interactive data visualization to communicate insights from the data effectively.Qualifications Required:- Bachelors/Masters degree in Science, Computer Science, EE/EC Engineering, or any other engineering discipline with extensive programming experience.- Proficiency in Python programming is essential.- Experience with Google Cloud Platform is desirable.- Familiarity with Angular/CSS and other Web Technologies is preferred.- Knowledge of basic statistics and data analytics is a must.- Strong interpersonal skills in written, verbal,



and presentation communication.- Willingness to travel and thrive in a diverse working setting.
