Job Description:

Job summery objective:
We want candidates with experience in the production department who are sharp, good at numbers, proactive, passionate about production, will stay long term, have a problem solving approach, positive decision making skills, and managerial skills, and will always have a desire to improve the process with innovation.
The person in this role assists the Production Manager in managing and planning production to ensure the daily production quantity and quality targets and budgeted cost targets are met. Also, he continuously gives actionable insights for further improvements at the company.

Qualification: Graduate/ Diploma
Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in production from any manufacturing company except Aluminium and Zinc.
Location: Bhimpore, Daman (U.T.)
Notice Period: Immediate or upto 30 days
Accommodation: Not fixed; will be discussed in the final interview.

KEY DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic:
1) To deliver of daily planned production quantity and quality targets and budgeted cost targets are met.
2) Maintaining sufficient RM, packagerial material and consumables stock.
3) To analyze daily, weekly and monthly MIS and generate ACTIONABLE INSIGHTS for the use of Production Manager, Sales Manager and directors of the company.
4) To control costs with a very tight hand by creating costing norms and budget for major cost items like RM, consumables, energy, labour costs, rejection costs, transportation costs.
5) To optimize yield of each lot and alerting the management about every single major yield variance repeatedly occurring from a specific lot reference number.
6) To develop SOP and ensure SOP and ISO compliance by everyone.
7) To continuously look for new improvement area.

Implementation:
1)



To ensure timely dispatch of finished goods to the customers as per quality defined in Sales Orders from HO.
2) To ensure compliance of our packaging SOP’s and timely dispatch by dealing with quality transporters at efficient costs.
3) To ensure total security of factory assets and staff with help of security officers.
4) To announce 4 top performers by analyzing the MIS and give them monthly rewards as per company policy.

Managerial:
1) To develop capabilities of all individual repartee's reporting to him by providing regular training and make them totally SOP compliant and Man, Machine, Material Safety compliant and more productive.
2) Ensure regular preventive maintenance schedule for all machines and equipment.
3) Give regular training to skilled labors and workers about Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and 5S.
