Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in accounting and a strong understanding of financial transactions, particularly with Tally software and Indian taxation regulations. This role requires proficiency in Tally, GST, and TDS compliance, as well as the ability to assist in various day-to-day accounting functions.

Responsibilities

- Handle all daily accounting transactions and entries using Tally software.

- Process and manage accounts payable and receivable.

- Conduct daily cash and bank reconciliation.

- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and filing of GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, etc.).

- Perform reconciliation of GST data with sales and purchase ledgers.

- Manage all aspects of TDS (Tax Deducted at Source), including calculation, payment, and return filing.

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.





- Maintain accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

- Provide support during internal and external audits.

- Collaborate with senior accountants and management on various accounting projects.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, or a related field.

- Proven experience in a junior accounting role.

- Proficiency with Tally ERP or Tally Prime software is essential.

- Robust knowledge of GST and TDS laws, regulations, and return filing procedures.

- Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.

- Proficient in MS Office, especially MS Excel.

- Strong communication and analytical skills.

- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
