Assistant Manager / Sr Executive - Production & Plant Operations

Job Specification
Qualification:
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical / Chemical / Production Engineering or equivalent.
Experience:
6–9 years in production & plant operations, preferably in chemical, pharma, related
manufacturing industries.

Skills Required:
• Production planning & control
• Knowledge of plant operations and process flow
• Preventive & breakdown maintenance handling
• Manpower management & leadership skills
• Logistics & supply chain coordination
• Strong understanding of ISO, safety & quality standards
• Problem-solving and decision-making ability

Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of process equipment
• Understanding of lean manufacturing, Kaizen, 5S, Six Sigma concepts
• Ability to analyse root cause of breakdowns
• Knowledge of safety systems
• Hands-on experience in preventive maintenance planning & spare parts
management
• Competence in quality tools (SPC, CAPA, deviation analysis)
• Knowledge of environmental & statutory compliances related to manufacturing

Accountabilities: -
• Ensure smooth functioning of production and plant operations as per business
requirements.
• Supervise and guide subordinates (Production Executive, Logistics Executive,
Production Supervisor, Maintenance team).





• Monitor daily production targets and ensure achievement with optimum resource
utilization.
• Maintain strict adherence to safety, quality, and compliance guidelines.
• Implement production schedules, coordinate raw material availability, and manage
workflow efficiency.
• Coordinate with QC/QA for product quality approvals.
• Ensure timely dispatch and logistics support for customer deliveries.
• Reduce machine breakdowns by implementing preventive maintenance plans.
• Develop SOPs and ensure their implementation across the production floor.
• Train, motivate, and build capability in the production & operations team.

• Indirect Reporting: - Production Supervisor, Maintenance team, Jr Executive Logistic,
Workers, Helpers
