Job Title: Chemistry Facilitator (Middle & Senior School)

About the Role

n

Amity Global School, Noida is seeking a passionate and experienced Chemistry Facilitator to inspire students across the Middle and Senior School. The ideal candidate should possess strong subject expertise, an inquiry-driven teaching approach, and the ability to create engaging learning experiences aligned with international curricula.

Key Responsibilities

n

•Deliver engaging and concept-based Chemistry lessons for Middle and Senior School students.

n

•Plan, prepare, and implement lesson plans aligned with the IB (MYP/DP), Cambridge (CAIE), or both curricula.

n

•Foster scientific inquiry, critical thinking, and problem-solving through practical laboratory experiences and project-based learning.

n

•Design and administer formative and summative assessments, providing timely and constructive feedback.

n

•Maintain a safe and well-organized laboratory environment while ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

n

•Differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs and promote academic excellence.

n

•Integrate technology and creative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.

n

•Mentor students in internal assessments, extended investigations, science exhibitions, and Olympiads where applicable.

n

•Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary learning opportunities and curriculum enhancements.

n





•Participate actively in school events, parent interactions, faculty meetings, and professional development initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

n

•Master's Degree (M. Sc.) in Chemistry from a recognized university (mandatory).

n

•B. Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification preferred.

n

•IB (MYP/DP) and/or Cambridge (CAIE) curriculum training/certification is highly preferred.

n

•Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international school.

n

•Experience teaching Middle and Senior School Chemistry.

n

•Strong laboratory management and practical teaching skills.

n

•Excellent communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.

n
