n We are India's fastest-growing hostel chain, scaling rapidly across the country. We build cool, vibrant, and functional spaces for young backpackers — spaces that are social, comfortable, and built for people to enjoy, work, and chill. As we continue to expand, we are strengthening our in-house design and execution team to deliver consistent, high-quality spaces across all locations.
n Role Objective
n Take end-to-end ownership of interior design projects for goSTOPS properties, from concept to execution, ensuring creative, functional, and brand-aligned spaces for our young backpacker audience while meeting quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
n Key Responsibility Areas
n 1. Design & Space Planning
n • Lead space planning and layout design for hostel and hospitality projects.
n • Prepare furniture drawings, joinery details, BOQs, and material specifications.
n • Develop drawings required for site execution.
n • Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and functional requirements.
n 2. End-to-End Project Execution
n • Own projects end-to-end, from design to final handover.
n • Support Project Managers and manage multiple projects in parallel.
n • Ensure adherence to schedules, BOQs, and quality standards.
n • Maintain high quality across all design documentation and deliverables.
n 3. Vendor & Site Management
n • Manage and coordinate vendors, contractors, carpenters, and site supervisors on a daily basis. • Track progress through regular follow-ups and resolve execution issues promptly.




n • Conduct site visits to monitor quality, measurements, and material usage.
n • Ensure smooth coordination between design, execution, and maintenance teams.
n 4. Cross-Functional Collaboration
n • Work closely with BD, Design, Projects, Operations, and Procurement teams.
n • Participate in reviews and coordination meetings.
n • Ensure smooth flow from design to procurement and execution.
n 5. Compliance & Quality Control
n • Maintain high standards of design quality, documentation accuracy, and execution detailing.
n • Stay updated with industry trends, best practices, and current materials and technologies.
n Qualifications Required
n • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Interior Design / Architecture.
n • 3–4 years of relevant experience in interior design and on-site project execution.
n • Experience in hospitality / hostel / commercial interior projects will be a plus.
n Key Competencies
n • Strong expertise in space planning and furniture detailing.
n • Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory) and 3D tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max, Lumion, etc.).
n • Good understanding of construction materials, finishes, and execution methods.
n • Strong skills in vendor management, coordination, and daily follow-ups.
n • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-growing environment.
n • High ownership mindset and solid execution orientation.
