- Review project drawings, specifications, scope of work, and tender documents.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment, subcontractors, and indirect costs.
- Develop project budgets and cost plans based on project requirements.
- Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQs).
- Analyze project risks and incorporate contingencies into estimates.
- Prepare tender submissions, bid proposals, and commercial documents.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and project management teams.
- Monitor market trends, material prices, and labor rates to ensure competitive pricing.
- Support project cost control activities during project execution.
- Maintain estimation databases and historical cost records.
- Prepare cost comparison reports and value engineering recommendations.
